                 BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in North Manchester, Kris Evans developed a passion for music from an early age.  In 2006, Kris went to Manchester Music Base College where he studied Music Production and Sound Engineering to enhance his craft.  He passed with flying colours and left with even more enthusiasm to succeed. Kris has released numerous mix CDs and self- produced tracks and has a steadily growing following across all social medias.

2008 was a big year for Kris as he was scouted by Take That guru Nigel Martin Smith to join the Manchester-based band The Mend. The 4 piece went on to compete in Britain's Got Talent.  They received a standing ovation at the auditions with their unique rendition of Otis Redding's 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' and went on to compete in the final - but who could match the talent of the one and only dancing dog, Pudsey (RIP).

The Mend went on to release their debut single, 'Where Were You?', which reached the UK Top 40 receiving great feedback from local and national radio stations including Radio 1.

Their performances on BGT caught the attention of X-Factor winners Little Mix who invited The Mend to support them on their 28 day 'DNA’ UK tour.

Now solo, Kris has been writing and producing his own brand new music. Earlier this year, Radio 1 DJ Charlie Sloth named his track 'Nothing Changes' as his Record of the Week.

Kris released his first single ’N.U.M.B’, which has had a fantastic response and was also picked up by BBC Introducing.  To top off this great achievement, the record was chosen as the winning entry by the Unsigned Only judging panel from over 6,000 across the world.

‘N.U.M.B’ has also been nominated as one of only 10 finalists in the ‘Best Unsigned Song’ category at the 2017 Unsigned Music Awards hosted by Best of British Unsigned.

His brand new single "Mine" is now available on all digital platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and many more.
